Rubik’s Cube is a 3D combination puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor Ernő Rubik. Originally called the Magic Cube, it was licensed in 1978 and became one of the most recognized icons in popular culture.
The classic version is a 3x3x3 cube with six faces, each divided into nine smaller squares, and the challenge lies in restoring it to its original state after mixing up the colors.
As of January 2024, around 500 million cubes have been sold worldwide, making it the bestselling puzzle game and toy.
